About Briarbook Lane
Escape into an enchanted land.
Look past the thorns to the magic that draws you in.
Briarbook Lane is a creative home for fairy-tale fantasy, poetry, and quiet enchantment—founded by sisters Mary W. Jensen and Elizabeth Wilcox as a place to share stories, wonder, and imagination.
Our Story
SNOW WHITE & ROSE RED / A TALE OF TWO SISTERS
Long before Briarbook Lane became a website, it began as a dream between sisters.
As teenagers, Mary and Elizabeth imagined someday living beside one another, with library-filled homes connected by a shared garden path—a place to gather stories, creativity, and quiet magic.
Life took us different directions, but the dream never fully disappeared.
In 2020, Briarbook Lane became our way of bringing that dream to life online: a shared creative home for books, writing, fairy tales, and the worlds we love.
