Publication Order

Publication order is the recommended reading order. Each tale tells a complete story, but Tessagonia grows as the series continues. Characters, places, history, and the consequences of earlier tales are woven into later stories, so readers following publication order can watch the world unfold in the same order it was written.

Prefer to follow Tessagonia’s history instead? The chronological order arranges the stories according to when their events take place within the world.

    1. The Blazing Princess (March 2022)
    2. Mirror (June 2023)
    3. The Princess Test (October 2023)
    4. Venom and Shadow (February 2024)
    5. The Gloaming Realm (June 2024)
    6. The Moon Prince (October 2024)
    7. Jack and the Midnight Cloak (June 2025)
    8. The Drowned Song (October 2025)
    9. The Unwelcome Guest (February 2026)

Chronological Order

For a different perspective, read the tales chronologically within the world. RM (Rule of Man) marked the beginning of Man’s rule in Tessagonia. This was followed by EU (Era of Unification).

Note: Many Tessagonian tales overlap in time, sometimes spanning years or even decades of a character’s life. Events in one story may quietly influence another—even across regions.

    1. The Gloaming Realm (0 RM)
    2. The Moon Prince (1 – 21 RM)
    3. Jack and the Midnight Cloak (1 EU)
    4. Venom and Shadow (70 EU)
